Drawing inspiration from the deep archways and softened forms of California missions, the Rollins Bed translates that architectural language into a warm, sculptural silhouette.

The bed's defining feature is its oversized headboard, which extends beyond the width of the mattress and wraps gently at the corners before flowing into broad, rounded shoulders. Rather than relying on ornament, the silhouette is shaped through generous curves that give the piece a quiet architectural presence. Forming this continuous profile begins with a hand-patinated steel frame, meticulously bent into shape using a combination of techniques, including torch bending, before being fully upholstered to create its soft, enveloping form.

The low-profile platform base mirrors the headboard's rounded edges, creating a cohesive silhouette. Dark stained solid walnut feet provide a warm contrast beneath the upholstery, while subtly lifting the bed to create a sense of lightness without interrupting its grounded presence.
